Gross Negligence: Expired GynaGuard delivered

I am absolutely disgusted with Pick n Pay ASAP. Today, 26 March 2026, I received a bottle of GynaGuard Essential Daily Comfort that expired on 31 October 2025 (Batch Code: 123930P311025). This product is nearly five months past its expiry date. My girlfriend used this health-sensitive product before we noticed the date, and it caused immediate, painful burning and itching. It is a massive health and safety violation to have such a dangerously old product still on the shelves, let alone delivered to a customer. This level of negligence is a direct breach of the Consumer Protection Act and has caused actual physical harm. I have opened a case with Pick n Pay (Reference: #818311), and while they offered a refund, a simple refund does not excuse the lack of quality control that allowed this to happen. I am demanding a formal explanation from management and a proper compensation voucher for the distress and pain caused by their incompetence. I will also be escalating this matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud
