Got sick from chicken purchased

I bought some chicken kebabs from the Pick 'n Pay Family in george, which we had with some lamb chops at a braai. Luckily our children did not eat a kebabs, but only lamb. My wife and I got very sick from the kebabs and I ended up in medi clinic's trauma unit to receive a drip, leaving me with medical costs of R1100. I know it's almost impossible to prove that it was the kebabs, but that's the only thing we ate of which the rest of the family didn't.
