good service from Aim and PnP

I bought an Aim glass kettle from PnP a year ago. It failed, and I had mislaid the till slip, so I emailed Aim to ask if it could still be fixed under the guarantee. They told me that if you buy from PnP, and use your Smart Shopper card fir the transaction, PnP can generate a replica till slip, and that can be used as proof of purchase. They could indeed, and I got a replacement kettle. Well done Aim and PnP.

The only caveat is that you need to know more or less when you bought the item , to limit their search time
