Glen Gary going the extra mile.

Excellent service at Glen Gary Pick n Pay. This happened on 2 March 2018 before 18:00.I app**** for Pick n Pay store account at the end of February. One of the benefits is that if you get R200 off your first purchase over R500. It did not go off automatically after I swiped my card. I went to the information desk and the lady helped us and did everything she could to get it sorted out. She asked the front line manager Nandipha who confirmed that she must phone the help line. The help line came up with a lie that it was a promotion that ended end of February where it clearly stated in the booklet, posters in store and on the website that it is not a promotion but part of the benefit. So 1* for the helpline that spread lies to customers and have little knowledge of what goes on in a pick n pay and what they offer. After the failed attempt without us even asking or saying anything the information desk lady (sorry did not catch her name) went to the store manager (welcome) who promised us he will see what he can do from his side. He instructed front line manager, Nandipha what to do and she refunded the R200 on a gift card for us. The store manager (welcome) even came back to check on Nandipha to see if she can get us refunded.

I am very impressed with the 3 mentioned people in this review. You don't get this kind of service everywhere. So thanks a lot everyone. Without you we would have been stuck with the lies of the help line.
