************** from Pick n Pay Robertson
Good morning
I have had many run-ins with this store. I am a single mother with 2 children. They are now 12 and 13 years old. I have recently bought a car. Since my kids were 2 and 3 years old we had to walk everywhere. At 1 stage I had to go into this store just to get bread and milk so I told my kids to wait for me at the door with our shopping bag seeing that I will only be inside for 2 minutes. The security guard and the owner of the store said my kids are not allowed to wait for me at the door. After that incident I saw the owner herself allowing other children to wait at the door for their parents. In another incident I collected a sealed branded box from a courier company and put it into the trolley to go into Pick n Pay. The security guard refused me entry into the store. The parcel counter for this store is not situated well and also customers have to pay to leave their parcels there. On 25 June 2025 the manager refused to accept a damaged and taped note that I received from another store. That damaged R10 note was the last money I had. I am a single mother with 2 kids battling to make ends meet and this store insists on making my life more difficult. I really think there is a racial factor connected in these incidents but I will most definitely not be associated with Pick n Pay Robertson any longer. Even though it's around the corner from me.
