For years Bar Codes & Advertising prices often do not match the till prices

For years PnP have failed to get their pricing on track although all of this is supposedly loaded and managed from HO. The bar codes often differ to the till prices & it is shocking that a customer should have to check each item at the till. This also includes their promotions which are clealy advertised online and/or instore. Monday at Northgate needed bananas & saw they were on promotion & per the large adverts in the fruit section & items listes, I took advantage of their so-called "any 4 for a R100" from the designated section. As per normal at the till I checked that some of the other items were charged correctly but only checked the fruit at home and they were not. The only reason I went to PnP was because I had to go to the bank & PnP is the closest . In recent years I have opted to use other retailers & although still check the till slips it is seldom that I encounter errors as frequently as with PnP & this when all are grouped together. PnP spend an absolute fortune on advertising & then don't load the R's per the adverts, or don't load at all.
