Food quality

My name is Bulelwa Sonja (***). Yesterday morning I purchased a beef stew at Pick 'n Pay in Strand street Cape Town, by lunch time the stew tasted sour and smelled awful just after I microwaved it. I then went to Pick 'n Pay after I knocked off from work and spoke to Elroy Swartz (Supervisor) who told me that they need proof. I asked Elroy how can I keep something smelly in the canteen whole day, where people eat their food at, he told me its company policy and I asked where is it written and couldnt answer. I told Elroy they should check the footage to see when I walked in, when I payed for the stew and I even had the reciept to prove the purchase, he wasnt bothered at all and kept saying he needs proof.

I buy my lunch at Pick 'n almost every 2nd day, I am still in disbelief that I had to bring proof of something I have bought before 9am.

I am completely a dissapointed customer.
