Food made me sick - Terribly Poor Quality and Customer service

Myself and my wife have for the past 8 years or so only shopped at Pick 'n Pay , we buy our monthly groceries only from Pick 'n pay stores and as a family of four we buy a lot of stuff. My last few visits to pick 'n pay was some of the most terrible by far. Firstly the most recent I purchsed my groceries from the pick 'n pay and the items purchased were well within best before dates and assumably fresh items. I bought a block of camembert cheese as I normally do, the cheese was rotten, not off or spoilt but literally rotten. I buy camembert almost every week and I know my cheese, this wasnt just usual cheese fermenting odar it was disgusting and literally made me sick to my stomach. Then the mince I bought, i decided to make this monday (25th July) the meat was terrible, it had a funny sour smell and I thought maybe its just in my head, until I actually tasted it and it was most definately off, both myself and my wife got sick after tasting it and threw out the entire pot and had to go buy supper. From the grocery items of over R2000 worth almost every edible item I purchased had some issue or the other. Either off, stale, smelt funny or something. I am so disappointed. The previous week I was at pick 'n pay, an item on special was marked down and at the till scanned at the wrong price. When I brought it to the tellers attention she looked at me like I am an idiot wasting her time. Then called the manager who looked even more angry and they got the correct price of the shelf, entered it and continued to scan the rest. I asked them about pick 'n pay policy of double the difference if the items scans wrong and they snapped at look at me and then ignored me waiting for me to pay. I paid and on leaving I told the manager I understand they are busy but it's not like I was buying R5 worth of stuff, I had two trolleys full of things and the least they can do is be a bit more freindly and undersatanding. I wasnt being unreasonable , I simply asked them about a policy that they have. This isnt the first time I have been treated that way aswell. I had a manager ignore me and treat me like an idiot at a pick 'n pay liquor store, when I took a bottle of JW platinum that was on special and it scanned at the higher price I told him and pointed to a board showing the special price and he laughed and said " that special is over" at which point I told him then you should take it down, because it didnt have a date showing its over. Then he says yah well that is a different stock batch and even though its exactly the same they just acted as if im talking nonsense. Eventually the manager agreed that they were wrong but said, " oh well" there is nothing we can do about it , you can either buy it at the price we have now or go to another bottle store. This is just some of the few experiences I have had with Pick 'n pay the last few weeks. I am fast loosing hope in the brand and feel like throwiing out all the groceries I just spent my hard earned money on with the fear of eating of feeding something disgusting to my family.

And so the terrible service continues. To date not a single person from Pick n pay has contacted me regarding this matter. I have subsequently disposed of all consumables I had purchased from the store as the day after posting this another product from the above mentioned shopping trip of mine was off and not edible. (whole chicken). My wife tossed the chicken at which point I decided to throw out all consumable items purchased from my last shopping trip as I did not want to subjkect my family to possible food poisoning. I understand that powercuts could cause pick n pay fridges to malfunction or have the food go bad but there should be precausions take and some quality checking done before consumers buy these. It is not fair for the consumers who pay lots of money for these things and have to throw them away due to pick n pays bad quality control and/or housekeeping.
This is my final attempt at a reconciliation before I take this to the media.
