Food being marked down after the expired (almost)

Dear Pick and Pay, showing the manager that food is about to expire. PNP south down mark things as reduced when they feel like it. The manager said its from the PNP management (straight from the CEO). Ok, 1km away, that store gets mark down daily.

Please confirm, why isnt PNP south downs being marked down ? Or must I change shopping stores ?
