Fly in the soup

Morning All,

This happened to me twice from the same branch of Pick n Pay over a few months and just never bothered to write a review. My shop of choice since 2000 has been Pick n Pay. I have moved around over the years, but for me I bought the bulk of groceries from them.

However, in the past few years my family and I have noticed a change in what is being given to the customer, and this review is to highlight something I think everyone would not want as part of their food.

My wife was wanting to make sandwiches for us and while she was busy cutting she notices a black thing in the bread. A closer look. It was a fly! A few months later, my wife buys a Piquante Pepper & Feta pack that they make, and you guessed correctly, another fly.

What is also disappointing after speaking to the Branch Manager, he asked if I would like a refund!? I am still waiting for a response from the Regional Manager. This happened last year. All I can say is please careful. Pick n Pay is not what it used to be.
