Filthy Employee
Today the 20 November 2015 I went to Pick n Pay Athlone Park in Umbogintwini and went to the bakery section to buy some Rolls and as I stood there waiting for the Rolls to be given to me I saw a black employee behind the counter cutting cheese into sellable sizes. What irritated the hell out of me is the fact that he had no gloves on and was touching the cheese with his hands. This is a matter of concern because I spoke to the supervisor and she told me that the staff had been warned several times about not using gloves when handling food stuff. I feel this is utterly disgusting and that all the cheese that was cut into pieces on the 20/11/2015 should be taken off the shelves. Pick n Pay should impose stricter measures when it comes to the handling of food items without proper gloves. If management knows about this problem and have spoken several times about it why hasn't anything been done about it. Other customers should not eat the cheese that a filthy employee sliced and touched with his bare hands. Absolutely disgusting.
