False Promotional Adverti*****t

I am writing to formally raise a compliant regarding my recent experience at your Eastrand Mall branch concerning the Friday Burger special promoted in collaboration with FNB and Smart Shopper Program.

Two weeks ago, I visited the store to take advantage of the advertised promotion: 50 for a burger meal, with a clear condition on the poster stating " three per customer."

However, when I got to the till, I was informed that the limit was only one per customer which directly contradicts the promotional signage displayed at the time on the 16th and 23rd of May 2025

I gave it the benefit of the doubt and returned the following on week on the 23rd of MAY 2025 hoping the matter has been resolved only to face the same issue AGAIN. I was once more told the promotion was limited to one per customer and the deal has ended- despite no prior communication or updated signage to that effect during my previous visit.

This caused a serious inconvenience to me and my family. For two consecutive Fridays, I was unable to purchase enough meals as expected and I had to scramble to make alternative arrangements to feed my family something I should have not have had to do given the trust I placed in your advertised offer.

To make matters worse, the cashier I dealt with twice by the name of Goliath was very dismissive and displayed an unprofessional attitude throughout the interaction. It was upsetting to be treated this way wile trying to get clarity on a promotion PNP publicly advertised.

Since I have complained to the branch, I have noticed the signage has now been changed to a reflect " one per customer" limit

This only confirms that the original sign did in fact say " three per customer", and that I was not mistaken in my understanding of the deal.

I am therefore requesting a formal apology as well as a proper compensation for the inconvenience and additional expenses I incurred over the past two Fridays due to this mishandling of the promotion.

I trust this matter will be taken seriously and handled promptly. I am happy to provide picture with dates of the advert at Eastrand Mall evidence if need
