False & Misleading Adavertising by Smart Shopper - also shockingly bad customer service

On 2017/12/14 Smart shopper e-mailed me an Smart Shopper flier which inter alia advertised no name brand shredded tuna in brine @ R 12,99 / 170 gm as an in store special. On the basis of this advert I purchased 1 tin from Douglasdale PnP and was charged R 16,99. I queried this with Mokhetsi, a supervisor, which checked the specials and confirmed that the shelf price was correct and raised the matter with Smart Shopper. I also sent them an e-mail, whcih they just ignored. oN 2017/12/15 I received yet another Smart Shopper flier once again advertising the tuna as before @ R12,99 as in-store special. I purchased another 2 tins and was once again charged R16,99 p-er tin and NOT R12,99 per tin as promised by smart shopper. Again I reported the matter to Mohketsi who again contacted smart shopper who just gave him the run around and did nothing further. I sent them a 2nd e-mail of complaint which they also just ignored. I waited patiently until 29th December without hearing anything further from PnP - smart shopper. I then e-mailed a complaint directly to PnP via their web page also with no response from them. To date PnP have ignored all my requests via 3 e-mails plus several calls by Mohketsi of Douglasdale PnP to rectify this matter which is clearly blatantly false advertising by Smart Shopper which misleads the customer, since the retail outlets of PnP will not honour the prices advertised by Smart Shopper. I have been more than patient and have given PnP ample time to correct this matter and in return they have just ignored my complaint. I have ample evidence (Smart Shopper advertising fliers, Till slips and copies of e-mails) now to lodge a formal complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa. All of this unpleasantness could have been completely avoided had PnP simply refunded me the price difference between the advertised goods and the price I paid. The customer service from PnP is shockingly bad.
