i have been swiping my smart shopper and saving my points for a rainy day ,when i tried to use the points i was told that i only have R3.00 which is not even redeemable, when i complained they told me that if points are not used they expire which was a surprise to me as i was not aware , its really unfair as we go to pick and pay with the impression we saving but its not so it seems . i want my points back , i have been using clicks for many years and Edgars thank you points but i have never heard of points expiring

We are sorry you didn't receive the communication that points are valid for 12 months from earning date via our emails or on till slips.
Only points older than 12 months will expire and not all of your points, and points older than 12 months will continue to expire on a rolling month basis.
We have escalated your request to our Smart Shopper Team to have 2244 points that had expired to be loaded back on to your card.
Your current points and rand balance is as per below:
Points : 5699 - Equivalent to R56.99 should you choose to switch your points
Rand balance - R3.00 left over on your card from your last switch which was done on 12.11.2016 for 7300 points.
Expired points that reached 12 months:
Feb: 522 points
March : 1106 points
April : 616 points
