False and Improper Advertising
False advertising. PnP Atterbury They put up a poster stating buy 3 gifts and get the cheapest free. No mention whatsoever that it is a one day special. I arrange with my wife to meet her there the next day after workshop we can do Christmas gift shopping together. Arrange babysitter so kids won't see their Christmas gifts. When we get to the store, they say tough, was only for one day. When i point out that they did not state that as a t&c on the poster they just say too bad.

Store manager and GM had real attitude - stating that the newspapers said only for one day. I pointed out that I did not see the advert in the newspaper - but on their poster the previous day. Then GM started speaking something in the lines of 'people like you'.

Ironic that there is a huge sign in store saying \we care for you".

Don't care at all - not even a decent apology for their mistake and inconvenience caused. So they lured me to their store by creating false understanding by means of advertising"
