False advertising = theft

On Sunday my mom and dad visited your Northgate branch in search of a freezer. They found a “410 litre Defy” for R5999. They called me at this point to confirm if this can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. I checked and couldn’t find this size elsewhere, however, at the time I was aware of Makro selling a 386L at R5500 and 481L at R6300. I told them to go ahead with the purchase at it was a bit more space for a 410litre vs the 386Litre.

On Monday 9th November 2020 I receive the freezer only to find out it’s a 386 Litre freezer. So I head off to your Northgate store to sort this out. I spoke to your *********** staff which was of no help. They spoke to one of the supervisor who was on break who told them something about the it being an ECO bubble freezer. The staff member in store insisted to me that it’s a Eco bubble and I must Google it. I was quite ****ed as I already knew the only appliance ECO bubble related is a Samsung washing machine but to satisfy the idiot I searched and showed him.

The moral of this story so far is get people who know what the **** they talking about.

So due to misrepresentation by the store we purchase a freezer which I could of easily gotten cheaper at Makro. I believe that qualifies as false advertising. ( See pics).
