False advertising by PicknPay

I opened a PicknPay store account after I obtained a pamphlet at PicknPay clothing, Greenstone. On this pamphlet they advertised a R200 discount if your first purchase is for R500 or more. Thinking that this was a fantastic deal I proceeded to purchase two jackets @ R400 each. I never received the discount and was advised to contact the RCS group. I was promised that this discount would reflect on my statement... It never happened... More than two months later, after numerous phonecalls and emails PicknPay is very quick to remind me to pay my installment, but no attention is given to my query. I was told to email the pictures of the pamphlet to a lady named Prudence. She said that I was entitled to the discount as there was no expiry date on the pamphlet for this promotion. I have sent about 20 emails to date, receiving an automated response everytime, asking me to be patient. I purposely did not pay my instalment this month in the hope that I would get some sort of reaction. I was contacted by somebody from the accounts department, to whom I told the whole story. She said she would follow up, but as I expected.... Still no response, just an sms reminding me to pay my instalment. So PicknPay is quick to demand payment but they cannot honour their promises. You cannot advertise something to entice people to spend money and then just go back on your word... But I guess that's how they make their money... By ripping people off.
