False advertising by pick n pay
Hello, I visited Pick n Pay hyper Amanzimtoti store on the 17/08/2018, and viewed a Sinotec 55" "UHD smart TV" marked at R5000 , being a person to do cost research, I found that they were the cheapest, with those specifications. Thus on the 19/08/2018, I revisited the store to make the purchase , but after close inspection, before I make the purchase,I noticed that the TV was not a smart TV yet was advertised as a smart UHD tv. I then asked for help, after much debate, the store refuse to sell me the correct TV at that price, they took my details down and said that I would be contacted by their head office with a solution to the problem. To this date, I have not recieved a reply and I have sent their head office an email stating this issue. As a customer, I am very disappointed in the service recieved based on the fact that if I had purchased the TV and taken it home to find out it wasn't smart, would have been worse.
