False advertising at Pick n Pay.
I app**** for a store account at pick n' pay. According to Pick n' pay you only need a income of R1000 to qualify. I have a good credit record and earn more than R1000 a month. Never missed any payments. Last month I took a month off to study. Because I was off for a month I did not get a full salary, I only got payed R11000 for overtime that I was owed. (R11000 is still more than R1000). Because of this I was told that I do not qualify for the card. When my brother app**** for the card in store they did not even ask his pay slips. Why dont they treat everyone the same? They made me feel like a ******** that dont pay my dues. I used to do all my shopping at pick n pay. I will make sure to take my business somewhere else.
Hi Wayne,
Thank you for choosing Pick n Pay and taking the time to address your concerns with us.
Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences caused to you.
The Store Card account is funded by RCS therefore their loan application criterias would apply when applying for the store card.
We will however send your feedback to our Store Card division.
We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.
Kind Regards,
