False advertising and Uncooperative management

I visited the store on the 24th of February 2015 inorder to purchase an advertised item as per the weekly pamphlet found in the tabloid newspaper. There was no limitation specified on the item in question in the pamphlet or on the shelf in store. When we where at the cash counter about to pay for the item the floor assistant (supervisor for the cashiers) inquired on the quantity of the item and then went to her manager, when she returned she informed us that the item was limited to 6 per customer as per her manager. We informed her that nowhere in the pamphlet or on the shelf in store does it specify this limitation. She was unable to assist us and requested we go and see the manager who was very rude to us and totally uncooperative. He continuously repeated the same line to us \I AM NOT A WHOLESALER AND RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT STOCK ". Being a store manager of such a large franchise he has no customer support skills what so ever. He did not try to assist us in resolving to issue and was very arrogant resulting in us having to leave the store without purchasing the item required. I will be totally reconsidering supporting another Pick n Pay store again."""
