False Advertising and Managers with Attitude at Pick n Pay Clothing
Pick n Pay clothing in Parow Center is the worst. On the rack under a sign (which just says Men's Tee's 2 for R100) was a stack of Harry Potter Tees of which we took 2. When we got to the till, the lady behind the counter wasn't paying attention to us, and my friend had to clear her throat loudly before we got her attention. She (Ms L Groenmeyer) then proceeded to ring up the stuff. It was R200. I told her about the sign, to which she responded (with attitude) that those weren't the t-shirts that the sign meant. So I said but the sign was specific, to which she basically told me that's the way it is, take it or leave it. Then we asked to speak to the manager, to which she responded (with more attitude) that she was the manager. We still wanted to t-shirts, so my boyfriend took them. But I have never been so dissatisfied and disappointed with customer service, or the fact that managers won't admit that there has been false advertising in the store. What happened to "the customer is always right"?
So far we have contacted the PnP head office but haven't heard back. They even dropped the call on us after putting us on hold to speak to the manager. Eventually we ended up with a reference number.
