FALSE ADVERTISING

I read on pick n pays website about 2 weeks ago that your smart shopper point could now be redeemed and switched for ster-kinekor movie tickets. Eager to go see a movie i went to my nearest pick n pay to switch the points as instructed by the website. However i could not get it done and asked for assistance from customer service. The guy who helped me could also not do it and printed out a receipt with the value and said I could just go swipe my card at the movies. I then went to the movies and ask rather for assistance to get the tickets, the guy was very confused when i presented my smart shopper card and left with it to speak to the manager. More then 30 minutes later the manager returned having been on the phone with ticketline and said that ticketline has no knowledge of anything to do with pick n pay. This upset me very much because i had wasted an hour of my day. I then rechecked the website and it clearly said it is available nationwide. I am a regular pick n pay customer and have never in my life been so dissapointed in them as they advertise this and then you cannot even use it. I really hope others don't fall into the same hole as I did.
