Failed response

On the 31-05-2020 my mom purchased a hamper at pick n pay busy corner, worth R350, it's was 10kg tastic rice, 10kg maize meal, 10kg of gold and cloud flour, 2.5 pick n pay white sugar and 2ltr of pick n pay cooking oil. As we were busy walking around the shop we noticed that they did not have the 10kg of flour so we approached one of the staff there and we were told that the store was out of flour and that we would receive it in about a day or two, the lady operating the till Yonela Bota also explained the very same thing to us and we understood. So Yonela called her supervisor and explained the situation to her and the supervisor asked Yonela at the till machine to reprint the slip and asked me to write my mother's details behind the slip and then said we would get a call the following day to come and pick up the flour. We have been waiting ever since and we still haven't received any call from any at pick n pay. I feel like this has been very unprofessional of pick n pay, I refuse to go to pick n pay busy corner for a follow up as this was their responsibility not ours, it's the 09-06-2020, so my question is can a big store like pick n pay run out of flour for 9 days, I hired a car on that day for my mom I'm not going to hire the car again.
