Face Masks poor fit

I bought the PeoplenPlanet 2pack face masks. There is no size indicated on the packet so assumedly one-size-fits-all. It is made of a nice soft fabric but the elastics are too short and pops off your ears and the mask does not fit comfortably (i.e. does not stay on your face). I went back to the N1 City store where I bought it but was informed that they do not do returns on masks. She said there are samples available. I am not certain what that would have changed because I would not have tried them on. It is like leaving out underwear samples for everyone to try on. She was adamant that they do not take masks back. I insisted it is a poor fit and uncomfortable and the elastic popping off your ears but she would have none of that. I left slightly annoyed and with 2 useless masks in my hand. I reviewed the product on the online store early yesterday but it is still not posted...
