Extremely Bad Service - Northgate Management

On Sunday the 9th I visited the Northgate store as I have been for years. There was an item I purchased which was shown to be on special as per the label on the freezer. It’s a brand I don’t normally purchase, but after checking twice I decided to purchase the item. When I went home I noticed that the item was charged the normal price of R74.99. it was a Sunday and late, so I said that I will query the next day as I needed other items from the store. I went back yesterday(Monday 10th) and spoke to Christine Mathabathe (I was told she is the supervisor). I said to her I was charged the wrong amount, gave her the slip. I told her it could have been system error as previously I had that issue and was told the special ended and they did not remove the price. She said ‘okay that could have been it’. I then said but that’s not my fault. I said to her I checked today and that label showing the price was taken out. She then said ‘Well if the price is not there, I cant do anything because I cant compare’. With a don’t care attitude. I asked her if she could check with those people working in that department. She said it’s a holiday and they are off!. She then went to the manager on duty. Alfred Mguni. He was even more rude than her. Saying that they don’t change prices on weekends. I said I am certain of what I saw. I even checked it twice. He went on and on about how the system cannot be wrong. I told him I had this problem before at that store. He then rudely said to the supervisor to give me the difference.

I have mail the query 5 times, and I keep getting a reference, no one has even made one call from the store.
