Extra 300 rand added to my bill

I went to Pick n Pay Rondebosch to do some shopping- carefully trying to ensure I kept below R200. And I was relieved to see that after ringing everything up, it came to R184. However, when I checked my bank statements, I have been charged R484! ****************!!!
