EXPIRED PEANUTS SOLD AT PICK ‘N PAY

Pick ‘n Pay Daveyton Mall keeps disappointing me. First it was rotten watermelon and now Salted Peanuts (bought July 9th) that are still sold post-their best before date (BBD). I realised after some while that they tasted differently, quickly checked the expiry date and that’s when I saw the peanuts were two days past their BBD. This can’t be acceptable at all, considering we are in the midst of a deadly pandemic. Eating foods that have deteriorated in quality further poses risks to human health and could also weaken one’s immune system - which consequently, could increase chances of getting infected by the virus.
