Expired Goods

I purchased a box of Bokomo Kreemy Meel yesterday 15 July 2015 from Pick and Pay Midway Mews and was just about to prepare it for breakfast this morning when I noticed that the BB date was 15/06/2015. I took back to the store today, not for a refund but for an exchange. I explained that I did not have the receipt as I threw it away yesterday. I am a frequent shopper at this particular store and go there 4 or 5 times a week. The supervisor called the manager who refused to assist me without a receipt stating I could have bought it anywhere else. I was appalled at this. So much for being a regular customer. I was accused of being *********. I didn't want money I wanted another pack of porridge. I suggest all the packs get attention as I wouldn't want another person to experience a similar fate.
