Expired food on shelves

They are selling expired food at pick n pay qualisave Randburg Square, I bought a Tinkies after the first bite I could taste it was not fresh when I check expiring date its Best before .02 June 2024 so they are keeping expired food on the shelf for people like me to consumer ... should I get sick after the first bite I took who would be responsible 🤔 I need my money back.
