Expired Food Item -Pick n Pay Clearwater

I sent my sister to buy breakfast items on the 3rd of January 2021 to Pick n Pay Clearwater .Full fat processed cheese (Pick n Pay inhouse brand) was on sale and the next day we realized that the expiry date was on the 3rd.How does the shop still merchandise food items that expires the same day? Does this means shelf life means less to Pick n Pay? This was not my first experience. We are disappointed by the store. The packaging clearly states 'to be consumed within the next 7 days'. My sister has sent emails to customer care but no reply. Please contact me to resolve this matter.
