Expired birthday Cake

Good day,on Friday afternoon I went to buy a birthday cake for myself at pick n pay Diepkloof to my surprise when I got home one of the cakes that I bought (chocolate cake) that was on black Friday special ,of which I asked the lady at the bakery if they are fresh she assured me that they are so I took one (Black Forest & Chocolate Cake), the chocolate cake was tasting off and and stail. Unfortunately I couldn't return the cake as I was already on my way to Bloemfontein so I kept it in the fridge to return it back. The worst part is that it has a date of the 4/12/2021,it's clear that they don't do FIFO with their stock and that will cause food poisoning amongst the costumers. I'm a highly pregnant women and that would have caused harm and effected my health.

I would appreciate if Hello Peter can notify the Pick n Pay Diepkloof square about my outcome and would love to return it back for my refund or getting a fresh birthday day. Regards Gina
