expect you to do your own packing ?

I went to pick 'n pay Alek Junction on thursday 16 Nobember 2017. The reason why I prefer buying from pick 'n pay is because I know that they have designated "packers" at every shop. Not so at pick 'n pay Alek Junction "Pan" at Alexandre township. The manager had an entertaining conversation with the packing staff, laughing and giggling while there was was no one at the till point to pack our groceries. The cashier, Ntsikelelo Ngcobo just put my groceries and plastics there and carried on to help the next customer. I am confused, is this the new pick 'new pay policy or should I ask if this is a township policy? This is unacceptable as the staff were socialising during working hours while they are paid to do a job. Dear pick 'n pay, uphold your great policies, remove lazy managers because they will only destroy your brand. It might be a franchise, but it's still your brand, even though it's in one of Johannesburg's biggest and busiest townships. I don't work at pick 'n pay, why should I do the job they get paid to do?
