ESSENTIAL SERVICES WORKERS TO JOIN THE LINE!?

This is about the current covid-19 crisis and the fact that based on the same crisis there has been a need to shutdown business besides ESSENTIAL SERVICES. Pick ‘n pay musgrave expects staff who are permitted to perform essential services such as bankers to join the long Que by the door. Now how this makes any sense I cannot understand. Furthermore they have said that they are following orders?..the interesting part is that all week we were essential and then suddenly only cops , army and doctors can skip the Que ( all three being essential service’s) but bankers not anymore. So some but not all essential services workers? How?? Because just as the cops and army essential so are we! Thus we have remained open!!!

If we will be standing in the Que for hours then who will be in the bank to assist customers? As this is an essential service as per the presidents orders & permit. Pick n pay supervisor and store manager both refused to acknowledge this stating that they also have to wait when they go to clicks and other stores so we must also wait. You as a business have failed me, because we are at work. We cannot stand long lines along with the general public to buy something and still make it back to work on time. It is appalling treatment and it is clear that you have made such orders on your own with no proper standard of thought at all!

Banks are open because they are essential. If you expect us to stand in your long lines who will be in the bank?!! The lack of intellect and thinking from your management is of note! We urge you to make sure this matter is attended to ASAP. We are not the public enjoying the liberty of being home. We are at work with 30min lunch breaks, Think please!!!
