Employees making a mockery of & not observing social distancing rules
I would like to share my disappointment of the experience I had today 16.04.20 @ 10h50 at Pick n Pay Mini Market Waterglen. Firstly some of the staff at the cashier are not wearing gloves or face mask. I was served by Johanna Mothoa who was not wearing any including her packer. As I was standing there at the cashier observing social distancing waiting to finish being served. One of the Pick n Pay employees and I am assuming It's a cashier came in close contact to me and lean close to me trying to reach behind me or put something She was not wearing a mask. The store was not busy so there was no rush for her to lean close to me like that. (Please check your cameras for evidence) When I asked her why is she not observing social distancing. She laughed at me and walk away. I asked the cashier if they were not made aware of social distancing as a form of safety during this pandemic as I feel that the other lady has put myself at risk. She laughed at me. I told her that I am going to report this matter they continued laughing until such time the guy who was packing the items apologized. As I was walking out busy sanitizing my hands. I had them laughing and mocking what I said " Why are you coming close to me. You need to observe social distancing. You are putting my life at risk. I am going to report you" I went back and I told them that I am going to report them. They continued laughing. This incident must be investigated by Head Office and there must be consequences for putting me as a customer at risk and corrective measures must be considered. We can't have have such negligence. The country and the government is trying very hard to contain the spreading of Corona virus and such behaviour is unacceptable. You can further check your cameras as they will substantiate my experience.
