Employees going the extra mile
Usually when walking into any Pick n Pay in Cape Town, I either don't get greeted at all or I have to endure the look of a face of someone extremely miserable and either doesn't want to be there or point blank hates their job.

This is definitely not the case here! I was going about my business in the Fruit & Veg section while I was assisted by a young man by the name of Nafees (I hope I got that right) who was running around for more than two or three customers at a time and with a smile on his face. This is not only the first time I have witnessed this in the fruit & Veg area in any PnP but the first time I have even seen as assistant in the area to help the customers.

Furthermore I had a small basket which filled up extremely quickly. I was stopped in my tracks by Gareth, the Deli Manager who ran to go get me a trolley with an additional basket :)

On top of this all I was greeted with a smiling face at the checkout where I usually find a sulking face and get asked, \Smart shopper?"No hello or anything.

Thank you PnP Cavendish"
Thank you for taking the time to post this lovely compliment for our Cavendish store.
I have forwarded this to our Western Cape regional office for them to pass on to the store, and I am sure they will be very chuffed to have been so publicly acknowledged for their great service.
Kind regards
