Embarrassment and humiliation by pick n pay staff

I went to do my weekly shopping of meat and fish on 22.01.2025 at the above mentioned store; after paying, I then proceeded to leave the store and the alarm at the door went off. The security officer told me to produce my till slip and then proceeded to remove the meat trays out of the plastic bags while scanning them on some device. I was really irritated by this and demanded to speak to the store manager; a man by the name of Akhona came through from the back of the store- I registered my complaint and in a rather nonchalant manner he told me that it was a security measure and it was necessary. I am really unhappy about this! 1. A security officer goes through my food with unsanitized hands? 2. The store puts soft tags in the meat trays but they fail ensure that they are deactivated at the pay point? Being a regular customer at this store for years, I really felt embarrassed and humiliated by this incident and I demand that the store ensures that nothing like this happens again to me or another customer!
