DSTV Special Debacle

DSTV HD Decoder, with 80cm Dish fully installed for R749. A great Special that we duly went to purchase from Pick n Pay Princess Crossing. Sales experience in store was terrific. We got given a sealed HD Decoder Box and a voucher to have it installed with the number for the installer. Called the installer and confirmed he would be onsite to install the same afternoon.<br> <br> The installer arrived, and then it began. We had a small DSTV dish on the wall already, which he promptly removed to replace with the bigger version. Now he refused to work. Apparently, according to the Terms and Conditions (That we were never once made aware of, throughout the process) the installation has to be the primary (and only) decoder. <br> <br> So we asked, where are the terms and conditions? They are here, he said, and promptly opened the Decoder box that was SEALED. The Terms and Conditions are in a sealed box?? Really? Now we cant even return the decoder because it had been opened.<br> <br> After fighting with installer and Pick n Pay for hours to get it resolved, we ended up paying the installer extra money to fix the installation that HE broke!!<br> <br> Bad form Pick n Pay!!! Not happy at the lack of customer service!
