Double the difference policy

Bought a easy set pool advertised at R999.95. On the 08.11.15 only saw on my slip on the 11.11.15 that I was charged R1099.95 When I returned to the shop on 12.11.15 they told me the Double the difference policy only applies on the same day. Very upset about this as it does not state this on the notice they have up at the customer service desk.
