Double the Difference

<p>I bought some vitamins from your store, clearly priced on shelf at R229. After I'd paid at the till I saw they'd scanned at R244.90. I went to returns and explained the situation. We verified that the wrong price was in fact displayed, and that barcodes corresponded. The cashier then refunded the R244.90, and charged me R229 for the item. I enquired about the Double the difference, since the policy was clearly signposted behind her. She said that the policy does not apply to tablets.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've since looked on your website because it seemed a bit odd that you have a policy with hidden terms and conditions that render it irrelevant, and can't find any mention that it specifically excludes certain items.</p> <p> </p> <p>It was frustrating that the item scanned wrong in the first place, and that I had to spend quite some time correcting it. But now that it seems you ****med me out of your own policy I'm pretty annoyed.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have the slips if you need the details.</p>
