Don't make promises that you do not keep

I visited the Pick n Pay Hypermarket, Northgate yesterday, 17 August. I spoke to the manager, Henry, as the ready meal, chicken a la king I was looking for, was not on the shelf. Henry asked me to give him my details, which I did, and said that he would source the product for me and deliver to my home. Needless to say I am still waiting to hear from the store! What is extremely frustrating is why promise something that you cannot or unable to do? At least have the courtesy to call and advise. One of the staff members, Thulani had said they would always have stock of the product...
