Don't care attitude

I had one of the worst shopping experiences at Pick n Pay Woodlands Mall. One of the tellers the one wearing butterfly earrings all around her ears was extremely dismissive and had a clear “don’t care” attitude.

I wanted to buy rusks that were on special with a Smart Shopper card, which I didn’t have. She gave me a number to call for registration and made me stand there for over 20 minutes with no assistance or follow-up. She eventually just left me at the till without saying anything.

What shocked me even more is that no one asked why I was waiting or tried to help. I ended up leaving the store without making my purchase.

This level of service is unacceptable. Management seriously needs to address staff attitude and customer support
