Dog Food **** being run by PnP

I went into Pick 'n Pay in Victory Park and found notices up on the shelves saying "Save R43 on Bob Martin Dog Food". I was out of money, so phoned my wife to tell her, as our dog is fed on Bob Martin Pellets. She went and bought 4 bags of food at the price of R154 each. When she got home she was horrified to find out that the bags were 6kg, not the normal 8kg. The 8kg bags normally sell for between R170 and R200, but a few days ago this went up to R210. (From an average of about R23 to R25.66 Thus the statement by Pick 'n Pay that there was a saving of R43 was a complete and utter lie, in fact, the price per kg had in fact risen. I am not sure who has perpetrated the ****, (Bob Martin or Pick 'n Pay), but Pick 'n Pay should surely be condemned for going along with it. I suspect that it is one of the standard price increase ploys, where the price stays the same, but the quantity goes down, and in a few days the price will become R200 for 6kg instead of 8Kg. Never again will I trust Pick 'n Pay's notices saying "SAVING".
