DO NOT RECOMMEND: Pick n Pay Car Licence Online Renewal Service

A warning to anyone contemplating using the PnP Car Licence Online Renewal Service... just DON'T. Not only is the online platform badly laid out and confusing, but once you finally get to the stage to pay it must be done in store. They give you a list of stores that you can supposedly go to to make the payment, however, after attempting SIX different Pick n Pay stores on their list, they were not able to assist at any of them. I quote: "yes, it was advertised but it was never activated". False and misleading advertising is ******* in terms of the Consumer Protection Act. I was sent from pillar to post, the Pick n Pay Hypers saying that no its only the PnP Supermarkets that do it, and then the PnP Supermarkets saying its only the Hypers that do it, "oh, go to Woodmead PnP Hyper, they definitely do it"... Just so poor. Poor experience, poor service. It is less of a pain to stand in the post office queue, because at least you have a closer shot of getting the actual licence at the end of the day.
