Dispute
On Saturday 19 Dec 16h00 I swiped for the goods I purchased and the slip said cancel even though I received an sms that the amount of R840 went off my account. They refused to help and I was forced to swipe for a second time upon which the slip said approved and I received another sms that another amount of R840 went off my account.
When I queried the extra money that went off my account I was told to go to the bank and get a statement to proof the dispute.
I went to FNB on Sunday 20 December who gave me a stamped bank statement showing the double debit on my account and informed that they can not reverse the money and that I need to take it up with Pick n Pay.
On Monday 21 December I went to Pick n Pay again and presented my bank statement and asked for my money back.
I spoke to Margaret (Front Line Manager) who was extremely rude and unhelpful who told me that I must go to my bank to reverse it. I tried to explain that I went to the bank as they told me on Saturday but she was not interested in what I was saying and kept talking over me telling me that she needs to follow procedure (she could not explain the procedure).
I then spoke to Charles who said Cape Town will reverse it
