Dismissive and unhelpful store manager

I had a very unfortunate experience at Pick and Pay I was charged double for my purchase luckily the liquor store manager (Vusi) dealt with the situation efficiently and friendly and I was reimbursed no questions asked. Commendable customer service I received from Vusi. The store manager is however the complete opposite of Vusi. Unfriendly and dismissive. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name as she never introduced herself. I asked whether the store would reimburse me for my trip as it would cost me R60 for a return trip with Bolt(taxi service). To which her response was it is not policy of PnP to reimburse customers and if I’m not happy with it I should call PnP customer care. I immediately agreed and asked her to assist me with the customer care, it was after all her solution. To which her reply was that I should talk to the liquor store manager as she is too busy to help. How on earth does she expect the manager who works under her to resolve an issue which she must in any case approve. I’m really really disappointed with her attitude towards me and probably other customers as well. Luckly, she has managers that actually can work with customers and are helpful, if it was her that delt with every customer I can’t imagine the bad reputation PnP would have.
