SHOP ONLINE WITH PnP AT YOUR PERIL!!!

I very strongly recommend you do your online shopping with Woolworths.

PnP regularly doesn't have basic items - like bread and milk, in stock. But you'll only find that out when they deliver. And if you then have to go to the supermarket for those items, what's the point of ordering online?

Yesterday they delivered bread, eggs and a bottle of wine in the same box. In transit the wine rolled around, squashed the bread and broke the eggs. I sent the scrambled eggs and squashed bread back. No doubt I'll have to call and argue with them before they credit me for the returned items.

If you order items that should remain frozen, expect them to be partially defrosted by the time you receive them. They use cooler bricks in standard plastic boxes to keep the items cold, but in our hot weather that's just a bad idea. They COULD have an on-board fridge - but that would cost them money.God help us if they actually have to lay out money for the benefit of their customers! If PnP was operating in a country like the US with such ****py service, they'd be out of business in a month. What a great pity South Africans except any old ****py service as if it's normal.

In the past I returned an order because they only delivered 10 of 21 items ordered. In spite of not signing for the goods, they still charged me for the delivery (they charge your credit card BEFORE delivery). I had to wait six weeks and had to call them many times for a refund. This is everything but outright ******** activity.

Please - if anyone is considering ordering online from PnP - DON'T. You'll be very sorely disappointed if you do!
