Dishonest business practice
The prices advertised in the Passover pamphlet and the prices of the goods on the shelves in the store are not the same. This is the second year that I have found this problem. It angers me that people buy the goods believing that Pick 'n Pay are honest and they are being over charged. Vesuvio Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 litre is advertised for R79.70, the shelves are packed with 500ml for this price. When I queried it at the Customer Care counter, I was informed they were not expecting stock of this product. Osem clear chicken soup & seasoning mix 400g advertised for R75.90 but marked at R156.99 - I was told the product on the shelf was different despite the fact that it carries the exact same description. Pick 'n Pay are *****ing from a community that supports them. What a disgrace!!!
