Disgusting Behaviour
I was at Pick n Pay San Ridge Lifestyle doing my shopping and was approached by a gentlemen who asked me if I could assist him in buying food (Pap and meat) which he was carrying in his hands, and I agreed to help him. So, because I was still shopping he asked if he could wait for me at the till which I agreed. When I was done shopping I waved at him to come to the till where I was paying so that I can pay for his meal. After paying for his meal I told him he could take the meal while I pay for the rest of my groceries. On his way out of the store he was stopped by the security at the door, I waved at the security to show him that I was the customer paying for the gentlemen's food.
Instead of letting the gentlemen leave, the security guard was shouting and cursing at him pointing fingers. I am utterly disgusted by the security guard's behaviour. I don't care if that gentleman is homeless or what, but that is no way to speak to an individual for merely asking for a plate of food, I wonder if that is how Pick n Pay portrait itself and if you have any CSI project because that behavior did not show me what Pick n Pay stands for and showed that your employees did not live by its values.
I am disgusted and I believe that Pick n Pay Management should take action against this rebellious security guard. If Pick n Pay does not want homeless people in their shops please make it clear instead of allowing them in and humiliating them like that. These people are also human and we don't know their circumstances.
I hope to get feedback on this disturbing matter as soon as possible.
Yours Sincerely, Angry Customer
