DISGUSTING AND DISHONEST STORE! NEVER AGAIN!!!

PnP has been a very frustrating place to shop in for quite a while now due to their blatant trickery in trying to get customers to buy more expensive products, but my experience at PnP Waterstone in Somerset West just took the cake today! They had a huge sign above a standalone shelf advertising a "big savings" on a product with it now costing R27.99 per item. I took two. When at the cashier, the products went through as R42.99. I pointed out the error and the cashier went to check the price herself. She came back with the small shelf tag which said R42.99. I maintained that the larger banner is the one that counts. She tried gettng the attention of her supervisor, but the supervisor seemed to be engrossed in a rather funny chat with a colleague. While we waited, the cashier scanned one of the products again to verify the price. As the supervisor jabbered away, I asked the cashier to please rather just void the purchase of the two products as I no longer wanted to buy them. After already waiting almost 10 minutes at this point, my 4-year old was getting restless and I really wanted to get home. Eventually, the supervisor came sauntering along and I said that I just wanted the cleaning products voided and that I wanted to pay and leave. She voided the two products, but left the "extra scan" which the cashier had made to check the price, on the bill. I asked her to void that one as well. Now suddenly the cashier tells the supervisor to check my trolley (which had nothing in it but my daughter!!), because there were 3 products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O :O :O At this point I lost my temper, pushed the bag full of groceries which was still on the counter back in their direction and left! To even have it imp**** that I was attempting to ***** a product when they were the ones who were being dishonest on so many levels, has left me shuddered and furious!!! And all of this infront of my 4-year old child who couldn't understand why someone tried to look behind her in the trolley or why I became so angry!!! I AM DISGUSTED!!!!!! I have been shopping at Waterstone PnP since it opened many, many years ago, but now NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
