Disgusted with service received

I was in the Pick 'n Pay, Wellington (Markplein Centre) store on Friday 7 October 2016, with my husband as the kettle which we purchased at the store broke. The kettle which is still under guarentee I might add (it literally started flaming while the water was boiling) was only a couple of months old. We spoke to a lady by the name of Shannon with regards to this and she then called "The Manager" Mr Muller to assist. Mr Muller then "examined" the kettle and went on to accuse my husband of using the kettle without water. My husband was not impressed with this statement and when my husband questioned him about his expertise in this field he walked away. Needless to say that this conversation was heard by most of the store (it being a Friday) as this was not done quietly. After this Shannon assisted us and advised that they will be sending the kettle away (which I highly doubt) as Mr Muller also said that the company will not be repairing or replacing the item). We also never saw Mr Muller again. In my almost 20 years of (since Pick 'n Pay in Wellington opened) being a loyal client we have never encountered such horrific service by a so called "manager". In the last couple of years and months I have really seen a change and difference in the staff, and it is not a positive one.

You have lost a loyal client and I will rather visit a competitor than be humiliated by your staff again.
